Old fashion and modernization

Assalam alaikum,all.
My trip is over and I really liked Boston. Despite cold weather, it has warm sincere people.  What caught my attention was many architectural designed buildings- from 1700s to nowadays. If you go there make sure you visit Copley Square.
Streets were simple and not so bustle. I don't know but I liked.

So Quincy Market:)) we found this place to buy something for friends. Affordable price and lots of variety. Maybe you can find more places with more varieties. But it was ok for us.
Magnets with the city's different sights on
Different types of tea

Park street

Beautiful scene. The sun goes down
This piano was in Quincy market. Just caught my attention.  It says'play me I'm yours':))
The whole city was full of lights on trees, bushes, market's doors

All in all, it was really impressive to be there. I am fond of history, so wherever I see old things and places I really get excited. But of course these are not so old, I don't know what I would do if I went to Egypt or Italy. So, everyone passes away but things remain..for now. Interesting to see and think about how people struggled there for their freedom. As I read there 'the heart of America started to beat from Boston'.
If you go somewhere be sure to visit historical places and know its precious moments.
Salam

Travel tips ✈

Assalamu alaikum,all.

It is really difficult to endure the long flight. I had my first long flight-13 hours. And I thank Allah that I haven't taken my baby with me. She wouldn't bear this and there would be nonstop cry. Because I also was inexperienced for so long flight, at least for the first time. But now I know alhamdulillah.
Medicine
First, you should have a medicine for your headache in your bag. I really had a strong awful headache and took my medicine and just slept.
Hijab
Wear your hijab loose with breathable fabric. But be careful, being loose DOESN'T mean hair and neck should be seen. Because while sleeping it may be drawn back.
Take your shoes off
As soon as I got on the plane and sat, I just took my shoes off and wore the slippers that the staff had given. Because your feet get swollen. For comfort you can take your feet up and down when you want.
Earcuff- in plane they gave
Soft warm Socks- they gave
Movies, games in your iPad- you mat not satisfied with the movies or games on the plane. So better download lots of movies and games or whatever your interest is to make the flight more bearable.
Snack- things that will not make you vomit. Also you may not like the food that is given to you.
Toothbrush and toothpaste. But you will be given , too.
And just things necessary for you in your backpack.

And the most important thing: for Muslims. There are no water taps in the toilets. Thanks Allah, husband had done this kind of flights, so he advised me to be tactical about this. I planned to take an empty bottle, but forgot in that rush. Otherwise the plane staff give a bottle of water. ( we had stay for 2 hours for transition) So it was really good.

So, have a nice flight

Cold weather and no play any more:)

As salamu alaikum,all.

I like to look at the pictures that were taken long time ago. So couple of days ago I was looking again and a smile covered my face. In summer every day even twice a day I was taking my daughter to the park. She likes to play on the sand and just sit there to look around. But now the weather is cold and we can go to play just for 30 mins or a little bit more.

Baby teeth period and seasonal flu

Assalamu alaikum,sisters.
I know I haven't been for a long time. I have just been so busy with my daughter's teeth period and seasonal flu. Still she hasn't recovered fully yet. But alhamdulillah. Allah gives so much strength. Because it is really hard to withstand the fatigue that you get in these days. I absolutely couldn't sleep and tried to sleep just every time when she slept. Besides, running and stuffy nose. Alhamdulillah she didn't have temperature problem. That's why I wasn't in a panic:D
Anyway, try to keep her warm.
Every time when she wakes up dress her up with jacket or something like this. If there is necessity change the clothes in case she sweats.
Always socks in feet. Even if the weather at home is ok.
Make her drink warm milk and eat soup(specially when she is sick) but don't force when she doesn't want to eat. Try to find something that attracts her attention and meanwhile feed her. Or some babies don't like to be engaged while they eat. So avoid distractions.
Don't give any medicine without asking her doctor. I gave a nasal spray for babies.
Ventilate the room often. This makes the room avoid from the viruses.
So I think this is all I remember for now.
May Allah save our children,
Healthy days for all

Simple cake

Salam alaikum.

Sometimes we need to do something fast even if it is a midnight:)) I don't know. But I have experienced such thing. Something to drink with tea. So here is a simple cake for that even if you don't have many ingredients;
3 eggs
1 water cup  sugar
1/2 water cup canola oil
1 water cup milk
1 baking powder
1 vanilla extract
Flour approximately 2.5 water cup
Mix all the ingredients together. It is better to Sift flour. I do it in a pyrex glass baking dish without greasing it. 30 mins at 180 degrees. Additionally, you can add any jam or marmalade between the cake slices.
So, Bon appetit!

Let's fast this month! Muharram-9,10,11

Assalam alaikum, all.

Today In the light of hadiths, we shall read the virtues of fasting in Muharram, inshaaAllah.

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: “The most excellent fast after Ramadan is God’s month al-Muharram, and the most excellent prayer after what is prescribed is prayer during the night.” [Sahih Muslim, Book 006, Number 2611]

Narrated 'Aisha(R.A):

(The tribe of) Quraish used to fast on the day of Ashura' in the Pre-lslamic period, and then Allah's Apostle ordered (Muslims) to fast on it till the fasting in the month of Ramadan was prescribed; whereupon the Prophet said, "He who wants to fast (on 'Ashura') may fast, and he who does not want to fast may not fast." (Volume 3, Book 31, Number 117)
Imam At-Tirmidhi mentioned that ibn `Abbas(may Allah be pleased with them both) used to say that we should fast on two days: the 9th and 10th of Muharram to distinguish ourselves from the Jewish community. (At-Tirmidhi)
Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas: When the Prophet came to Medina, he found (the Jews) fasting on the day of ‘Ashura’ (i.e. 10th of Muharram). They used to say: “This is a great day on which Allah saved Moses and drowned the folk of Pharaoh. Moses observed the fast on this day, as a sign of gratitude to Allah.” The Prophet said, “I am closer to Moses than they.” So, he (PBUH) observed the fast (on that day) and ordered the Muslims to fast on it. [Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4,Book 55, Number 609]
Imam Ahmad ads: “This is the day on which the Ark settled on Mount Joodi, so Noah fasted this day in thanksgiving.”
Ibn ‘Abbas reported that when the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) fasted on the day of ‘Ashura and commanded that it should he observed as a fast, they (his Companions) said to him: Messenger of Allah, it is a day, which the Jews and Christians hold in high esteem. Thereupon the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: When the next year comes, God willing, we would observe fast on the 9th But the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) died before the advent of the next year. [Sahih Muslim, Book 006, Number 2528]
Ibn`Abbas quoted the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as saying, “If I live next year, I shall also fast on the 9th day.” (Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal, hadith2002)

Narrated by Abi Qatada: The prophet was asked about fasting on ‘Ashuraa’ (the 10th of Muharram), he said: “it expiates the previous year (for sins).” (Sahih Muslim)

“This fast is a compensation for the (minor) sins of the past year.” (Muslim)
“One who generously spends on his family on the day of Ashuraa, Allah will increase (his provision) for the whole year.” (Baihaqi)
It is not compulsory to fast 9,10,11 all. But either 9th or 11th days with the day of Ashuraa'.
So let's take advantage of these days and who knows if we'll be alive next year or not.  Allah gives us so many chances for us to be forgiven. Why not to use this chance?

With love

Who really cares?

Salam alaikum, all.
After reading this maybe many people think they do the same. But some times I see people who intentionally criticise other people in front of the crowd. You know what it means. It means you made him or her feel embarrassed. Maybe you humiliated that person. If you want that person to understand his or her fault then just tell him or her alone. Just you two. And not in a rude way. With respect and clemency.
And I have read that sometimes awliyas had a talk in a crowd to show that person the right way. It is not the same. They knew how to behave in any situation. But many people don't, including me.
Sometimes we feel obligation to warn that person in front of everyone. Because that person may be a bad model indeed.Once I came across with comments on YouTube that caught my attention. Somebody commented like 'it is not right to do like this' and lots of comments hailed down on him or her saying, 'who you are saying this, you can't judge' etc etc...it is really interesting for me, is it really 'to judge'? I assume that many people message privately. But what if all protect this 'wrong way'. And mesmerizing comments that cause more inclination to continue.
So, better not to pass that fine line. Before we should do it In a best way as possible as we can. Because with a little inaccuracy we may get in trouble ourselves. As we may need to ask for forgiveness.
So let's criticise each other with respect, love and care.
Spread love

If we lived the life back to front

If we lived our life back to front...
Let's think the life for a moment. You are in a wooden coffin. Eeveryone staying in front of you in tears and doing prayer. This time you get out of the coffin. Wise, mature, restrained...there is an infinite respect for you. Sons, daughters, and even great-grandchildren are with you. You get into your car and drive towards your home...
You come to your home. You have everything-house, salary ... You live in comfort. Your health is going to be better day by day. Muscles are stronger. And one day, you begin to work as a chief or an experienced manager. Everyone stands right in front you.
Day by day you get into form. Beautiful days begin. And one day the manager suggests you to go to the university. Now, your father is with you, too. Father: "You have worked a lot, go home and begin to study," said.
Then comes school years. Now, your father or mother takes you to the school. You don't need to drive a car.
One day you are taken out of the school. "Now, be at home and play with your toys", they say. Everything is done for you-eating, drinking. And one day your mother decides to give you milk. Now, wherever you go, your meal is with you.
One day you fall into dark and hot environment. There is no need to open your mouth to be fed. You are away from any noise. You are getting smaller, smaller, smaller and finally, you turn into a small cell. And one day, life ends ...
In fact, it is possible to infer the number of examples. However, 3 of them are most important:
1 - Death can not be killed. Either it comes out from the very beginning or the end, we will go "there" at last.
2 - Either the life goes to the death or the birth, but the last way is to Allah (swt), going to be near to Him.
3 - And examination ... The main issue is NOT from where to begin the life, BUT how to get out of this life examination. What will be the result...

Worth to think ¿

I've found new stories. I liked them very much :) Enjoy!
(Ahmed Shahin, ''They lived Islam like this'')

Just a so-called generous person was talking
to Adkham. He said:
 -Imam, give me advice.
If I give advice, will you follow it? Adkham said.
-Yes. You just give advice, greedy said.
If so, listen to this advice:
-Open the closed one, close the opened one! Adkham said.
The greedy man began to think. He could not disclose it in any meaning. And asked:
-I could not disclose the explanation. What is closed? What is opened?
 Adkham Ibrahim said:
-Closed one is your purse. You will open it. The Opened one is your tongue. You will close it!

                                                        * * * * * * *

Abraham's heart was as Arafat square. He has a heart for all Allah's friends. Important was the service to Allah and devotion to Islam. No matter what profession they had, Abraham loved all of them. One night, He saw Jibril(as) in His dream. Jibril(as) was walking with the book in His hands.   O the chief of the angels, what is this book?
Jibril Alayhissalam:
-I write the name of Allah's friends in this book.
-Will you also write my name there?
-No. There is no your name among the friends of Allah.
   Abraham Adkham asked this question:
-If there is no my name among the friends of Allah, isn't it among the lovers of Allah's friends, either?
-Yes, there is!
-Then, What are you waiting for?
When Jibril Alayhissalam began to think, Our Lord ordered:
-O Jibril, what are you thinking? Didn't My Prophet tell that ''Man with those whom He loves'' ? Of course, Abraham will also be with the friends of Allah whom He loves. Write his name among Allah's friends.

Wisdom...The story of a cup

Some days ago I heard this story, was impressed and decided to share with You All. Its writer is Turkish. I translated it and Hope You’ll like it :)

                                                  * * * * * * *
An old woman, placed a hundred years cup carefully up the hall showcase which she had bought from the store of antique items. Cup’s shape, engravings on it and colours said it was a work of art. Remembered the sum; no, it was not expensive at all.

She kept looking at the cup in wonder. Suddenly, the cup came to speak and said to the woman;

“I see that you are looking at me admiringly. But, you should know that I was not always like this. The hardships that I took made me like this.

The woman was in surprise now. The cup in front of her was talking!

The old woman stammers: “How? I don’t understand?” could say.

“I want to say that once I was just a piece of mud and a craftsman came. Took me, crushed, beat and kneaded me. Couldn’t bear all these and shouted:

“Enough! Please, stop it!”

But the craftsman was just smiling and  said; “Not yet!”
“Then he took me and put on a board. There I turned, turned, turned and felt dizzy. Finally, shouted again:
“I beg you, bring me off this board. I don’t want to turn on this board, again!”
But the artisan looked at me and smiled:

“Not yet!”

“After a while, He took me and put into a stove. Closed the door and increased the heat. Now I could see Him through the window of the stove. The stove got warmer gradually. I thought: “He’ll burn me”
I began hitting the walls. On the other hand shouted:
“Master, master! I beg you, let me get out of here!”
I could see his face through the window. Still was smiling and said “Not yet!”

After an hour, opened the stove and took me out of there. Now I could breath easily, I was rescued from the heat of the stove. He put me on the table and brought a brush and paint.

He began to touch me with the painted brush. The brush was all around me and I was tickled.
“Please, master! I beg you, it is tickling me.” His answer was the same: “Not yet!”

Then He took  me carefully and began to walk towards the stove again. I was frightened. “No! Don’t put me into the stove again, pleaasseeee!”, I shouted.

He opened the stove, pushed me and closed the door. Increased the heat twice as it was before. “This time He’ll really burn me.”, I thought. I looked through the window and begged. But He said “Not yet!” again. Only now, I saw the tears coming down onto His cheeks.

When I thought that I was about to give my last breath, that time the door was opened and Master’s thin hand took me out the stove. I took a deep breath, I met coolness after a long absence. He put me up the shelf and said:

“Now, you are what I wanted. Would you like to see yourself?”

I said ‘’Yes’’.

He brought a mirror and put it in front of me. I couldn’t believe what I saw. I looked into mirror again again and said: “This is not me. I am just a piece of mud.”

“Yes, this is you.” Said the Master. The things that you thought like pain and distress made you a perfect cup.

If I didn’t work on you when you were a piece of mud, you would have got dried and disappeared.
If I didn’t put you on a rotating table, you would have been dust.
If I didn’t put you into a stove, you would have been blowed up. If I didn’t paint you, you would not have got colour in your life.
But you got the real strength and power after a second stove.
Now you have everything on you that I wanted.”

And I- a coffee cup, got surprised at the words going out of my mouth:

“My Master! Forgive me that I didn’t trust in You!
I thought You would do harm to me.
I could not think that You would do goodness and love me more than I do myself
My way of thinking was narrow, but now I see that You changed me into a great piece of art.
Thank You for giving me The things that I saw like pain and hardships.
Thank YOU!

* * * * * *
Master shapes the cup, Creator shapes the man (human),
Enough that we can see the wisdom inside pain.
“Whatever comes from You is delightful” - If we could only learn to say this…

Most beautiful thing for me yesterday

Assalam alaikum, mothers,

I had always thought that babies didn't understand anything. And they just need to eat, drink and sleep and play. Want to be in her or his mom's arms. But this had been until I became a mother myself. Actually I am wrong. They understand and remember everything. But they react different. There are lots of things that I can write maybe post by post. But yesterday I had really a great feeling. I had really bad back pain. And alhamdulillah my mother was here. And how much I tried to lie down silently,  my daughter began to cry when she saw me like that. She tried to climb up near me. Finally, my mom  put her near me. And there was really a surprising thing. She put her head or face on my face and did as she was kissing me. She did it twice thrice. After I said 'I am ok' she became quiet. I was so happy:) and she is a year, alhamdulillah. How much moms become tired it doesn't matter when they see their babies smiling, caring.
May Allah protect and save our children. Amen!

Da'wah - Calling others to Islam ☪

(I've got an interesting topic from one of my friends. Alhamdulillah, very useful for everyone. Thankful to that sister, too :) ...)

Praise be to Allaah.

Allaah created man and caused him to dwell on this earth, but He did not forsake him. Rather He gave him what he needs of food, drink and clothing, and revealed to him throughout the ages a path to follow and be guided by. The interests and happiness of mankind at every time and in every place depend upon following the path of Allaah and rejecting all others:

“And verily, this (i.e. Allaah’s Commandments mentioned in the above two Verses 151 and 152) is My straight path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His path. This He has ordained for you that you may become Al-Muttaqoon (the pious)”
[al-An’aam 6:153 – interpretation of the meaning]

Islam is the last of the heavenly religions and the Qur’aan is the last of the heavenly Books. Hadhrati Muhammad (sas)(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is the last of the Prophets and Messengers. Allaah commanded him to convey this religion to all of mankind:

“this Qur’aan has been revealed to me that I may therewith warn you and whomsoever it may reach”[al-An’aam 6:18]

Allaah sent His Messenger Muhammad (sas) (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) with Islam to all of mankind, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Say (O Muhammad): ‘O mankind! Verily, I am sent to you all as the Messenger of Allaah’”[al-A’raaf 7:158]

Da’wah or calling others to Islam is the best of deeds, because it involves guiding people to the Straight Path and to that which will bring them happiness in this world and in the Hereafter:

“And who is better in speech than he who [says: ‘My Lord is Allaah (believes in His Oneness),’ and then stands firm (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allaah’s (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: ‘I am one of the Muslims.’”
[Fussilat 41:33 – interpretation of the meaning]

Calling others to Islam is an honourable mission. This is the work of the Prophets and Messengers. The Messenger (sas) (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) explained that his mission in life, and the mission of his followers, is to call people to Allaah.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Say (O Muhammad): ‘This is my way; I invite unto Allaah (i.e. to the Oneness of Allaah — Islamic Monotheism) with sure knowledge, I and whosoever follows me (also must invite others to Allaah, i.e. to the Oneness of Allaah — Islamic Monotheism with sure knowledge). And Glorified and Exalted be Allaah (above all that they associate as partners with Him). And I am not of the Mushrikoon (polytheists, pagans, idolaters and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allaah; those who worship others along with Allaah or set up rivals or partners to Allaah)’”[Yoosuf 12:108]

The Muslims in general and the scholars in particular are commanded to call people to Islam, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma‘roof (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful”
[Aal ‘Imraan 3:104]

The Prophet (sas) (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Convey from me even if it is (only) one aayah.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3461)

Calling people to Allaah is an important task and a glorious mission, because it means calling people to worship Allaah alone. It means bringing them forth from darkness to the light, planting goodness in the place of evil and truth in the place of falsehood. Hence whoever does this needs to have knowledge, understanding, patience, forbearance, gentleness and kindness. He needs to give of his wealth and of himself, and he needs to understand people’s circumstances and habits.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Invite (mankind, O Muhammad) to the way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Revelation and the Qur’aan) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided” [al-Nahl 16:125]

Allaah blessed His Messenger with the words (interpretation of the meaning):
“And by the Mercy of Allaah, you dealt with them gently. And had you been severe and harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about you; so pass over (their faults), and ask (Allaah’s) forgiveness for them; and consult them in the affairs” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:159]

The daa’iyah (caller) may be faced with debates in his da’wah activities, especially with thePeople of the Book. Allaah has commanded us, if it reaches the point of debate, to debate in a manner that is better, which is with kindness and gentleness, explaining the principles of Islam as they came, pure and simple, in a kindly manner and with no element of compulsion.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And argue not with the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), unless it be in (a way) that is better (with good words and in good manner, inviting them to Islamic Monotheism with His Verses), except with such of them as do wrong; and say (to them): ‘We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you; our Ilaah (God) and your Ilaah (God) is One (i.e. Allaah), and to Him we have submitted (as Muslims)’”
[al-‘Ankaboot 29:46]

Calling people to Allaah is a virtuous deed which brings great reward. The Prophet (sas) (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever calls others to guidance will have a reward like the rewards of those who follow him, without that detracting from their reward in any way. And whoever calls others to misguidance will have a burden of sin like the burden of those who follow him, without that detracting from their burden in any way.”
(Narrated by Muslim, 2674)

If building a physical structure needs effort and patience until it is complete, then building souls and guiding them to the truth also needs patience and sacrifice. The Messenger (Sas) (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) called people to Islam, patiently bearing the persecution of the kuffaar, Jews and hypocrites. They made fun of him and disbelieved in him; they insulted him and threw stones at him; they said that he was a sorcerer or a madman; they accused him of being a poet or a soothsayer – but He (sas)(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) bore all that with patience until Allaah granted him victory and caused His religion to prevail.

So the daa’iyah must follow his example:

“So be patient (O Muhammad). Verily, the Promise of Allaah is true; and let not those who have no certainty of Faith discourage you from conveying Allaah’s Message (which you are obliged to convey)
[al-Room 30:60 – interpretation of the meaning]

The Muslims must follow the example and guidance of their Messenger and call others to Islam, bearing insults and harm with patience for the sake of Allaah, as their Messenger (sas) (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did: “Indeed in the Messenger of Allaah (Muhammad) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes for (the Meeting with) Allaah and the Last Day, and remembers Allaah much”
[al-Ahzaab 33:21 – interpretation of the meaning]

The well-being and happiness of this ummah are only to be found in following this religion. Hence Allaah commanded us to convey the message to all of mankind, as He says (interpretation of the meaning):

“This (Qur’aan) is a Message for mankind (and a clear proof against them), in order that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is the only One Ilaah (God — Allaah) — (none has the right to be worshipped but Allaah) — and that men of understanding may take heed. [Ibraaheem 14:52]

Work and Get

Each student was given a long wood by the teacher.
-Take this wood and come with me,-said the teacher.
None of the students protested. But one of them:
-This wood is very heavy to carry, if youallowed me, I would like to cut a little, said.
The teacher agreed. And he cut a little off the wood. Then they continued their way.But they hadn't gone far when the student  turned towards the teacher again with the same question:
-This wood is very hard, if you permitted me, I would like to cut a little more, - said.
The teacher didn't protest again and the student cut his wood off. After a while they met a valley in front of them and the teacher said to his students:
-Now everyone, be ready to cross the valley with the wood,-said.
And everybody could cross the valley except the student who cut his wood again and again. So, if there is no work or hardship, then there is no any ''harvest'' or 'award' for this...

Preparation...HOW?

                                         source
A young man named Yousuf came to visit Hatam-i A'sam, an islamic scholar, with his friends. During the talk Hatam was asked:
-How do you prepare for a prayer?
And He answered: -Before a prayer I imagine the heaven on my right side, and the hell on my left. Sirat (the bridge) under my feet, and of course the scale that our deeds will be put on, in front of my eyes. Imagine Azrail (as) behind me waiting to take my soul as soon as I finish my prayer. One more thing is... Allah sees my body and heart every second even if I don't see Him.
   Yousuf in surprise:
-How long have you been praying like this? -he asked.
   Hatam:
-More than twenty (20) years, -He answered.

*What a wonderful preparation, isn't it? Hope you liked it, and hope you don't only read, but leave your thoughts down below too :)

Useful things to know ✔

Source

(from different hadiths)

1) The benefits of children's crying

There are many benefits of children's crying. They have dampness in their brain, if that dampness stays inside the brain, it can cause the loss of eyesight and other damages. Crying can make the dampness out of the brain, so that their body and eyes become healthy. Sometimes we see that children relax after they cry, but parents don't know it. They try to calm the children and plan everything according to their (children's) desire so that they will not cry. Whereas, crying is more recommended.
2) Sneezing of the patient is the sign of recover and comfortableness of the body.

Hijab or Camel Hump?! ( ⌣́,⌣̀)

Yesterday I saw a 'hijabi' girl on the other side of the road. She was wearing a long skirt but her hijab was absolutely against islamic rules. Nobody can tell who is more accepted one by Allah but there are some conditions in Islam, too. The hijab 'style' was nearly the same with the picture shown below. Even the ear-rings were out...but this is another topic.

Veiling is one of the most important ways to prevent the ways to adultery. Veiling is by nature, importance of creation.
It is all known that one gets bothered by the gaze of the people whom s/he dislikes, noone can stand comfortably in such situation. But sometimes we see more attractive 'hijabis' than those who don't wear it. Hijab is not only to cover hair. But it doesn't mean, she shouldn't wear a hijab. It is not.

It was reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “There are two types of the people of Hell that I have not seen yet: men with whips like the tails of cattle, with which they strike the people, and women who are clothed yet naked, walking with an enticing gait, with something on their heads that looks like the humps of camels, leaning to one side. They will never enter Paradise or even smell its fragrance, although its fragrance can be detected from such and such a distance.” (Narrated by Ahmad and by Muslim in al-Saheeh).
In this picture it is hair at the top of it or another thing, I don't know. I said another thing, because there is a video footage in one of the sites. There a stylist was showing an example and before covering the hijab she put 2 big broches on her hair and wore an underscarf over it. And it was like there were 2 heads. And you know? In the comments of other site it was written ''when my brother see such hijabis he says that 'they seem more beautiful in this way' , it means it attracts men's attention, too''.
''Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There will be in the last of my ummah, scantily dressed women, the hair on the top of their heads like a camel’s hump. Curse them, for verily they are cursed.'' [At-Tabarani and Sahih Muslim]
I do NOT say that women should wear in a dirty, funky way, NO. In simple way women can be elegant and beautiful, too. But without breaking Allah's orders, inshaa Allah. It is really hard and danger to be cursed by Allah and His Messenger (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).
May Allah let us meet one another near the Prophet(sas) in Jannah, Ameen...

İslam'da resim çizmek ve fotoğrafçılık

Source
Günümüzde her şey o kadar normal hal aldı ki, artık aslında yasak olan şeyleri kabul etmekte zorlanıyoruz. O kadar ki, çoğu zaman söyleyenle alay ediliyor, ciddiye alınmıyor. Ama hoşumuza gitse de, gitmese de hakikat değişmez. Gerçek böyle. Aslında araştırdığımızda ne çok şeyi yanlış yapıyormuşuz. Mesela, gerçekte canlıların resimlerini çizmek Allah katında haram olduğunu biliyormuydunuz? Hadislerde hepsi var;
Canlı resmi yapana, kıyamette "Yaptığın resme can ver" diye azap olunur. [Müslim]

Dünyada [zaruretsiz] canlı resmi yapana, kıyamette bu resme can vermesi söylenerek azap edilir. Halbuki o, o resme can veremez. [Nesai]

Fotoğrafçılık için araştırma yaptığımda bir çok yerde yine zaruret hallerinde olur diye cevap verildiğini gördüm. Hadislerde fotoğrafçılık yok tabi, bu ahirzaman keşfi. Ama hadisler işığında alimler buna cevap vermeye çalışmışlar;

O'nun yanında da Me’va cenneti. O zaman Sidre’yi kaplayan kaplamıştı. Göz şaşmadı ve aşmadı. Andolsun, o, Rabbinin en büyük alametlerinden bir kısmını gördü.(Necm suresi: 13-18)
